Fallen Destiny by Yolanda Sfetsos

Image
Thank you @ brigidsgatepress @zooloosbooktours For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Fallen Destiny is a supernatural genre. I love the front page; it’s unique, and it gives you a bit of an idea of what’s going to come into the book. When I read the blurb, I was very excited and couldn't wait to read the book. The story is about destiny; she isn’t a human. She is supernatural, and she has the power to try to connect and locate other humans who are like her. And then one day she’s hired by a nun that she doesn’t know, and then things start to happen. I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Fallen Destiny; I was hooked from the first page. It was so easy to get into, and I loved Yolanda Stetsos's writing style. I haven’t read a supernatural book for a while, and this was just fantastic, and I was on the edge of my seat reading it. The Tradwife's Lie by Bella Ellwood-Clayton

Image
Thank you @zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Tradeswife is a psychological genre, which is my favorite genre, and I read this book in a day and a half. I liked the cover, and the blurb instantly interested me, and I wanted to review this book and read it, and it did not let me down. There are a few narratives in the book. They are Marni, who is married to a doctor, and she’s very fragile, and she becomes pregnant and starts to find things out she didn’t want to. Then there’s Elka, who is controlling or running Westbrook with her husband and who has a family, but things are not what they seem with her either. I thoroughly enjoyed reading both ladies perspectives on how they were feeling, and it was nice to get to know them both. And actually, I really did like both of the characters and was genuinely interested in their story and was drawn to them both because they are entirely unique women. There is a significant amount of tension running thr...

Step into my Flow by Michelle Heighway

Image
Thank you @zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Step into My Flow is a book of poetry and has a gorgeous front cover of flowers, leaves, and a beautiful cottage. It’s definitely somewhere where I would like to live. My favorite poems are “To the Shores,” "The Butterfly Effect,”"Cells , Cells, Imagination," and “Spell.” All of this poetry is gorgeous and flows really well. This is a lovely collection of poetry that you can keep coming back to time after time. All the poems felt like they were written from the heart and very meaningful and really resonated with me. There are four sections of the book: beginnings and reflections, nature and healing, loss and longing, and celebration, connection, and transformation. You will find that there will be some poems that will be your favorite more than others, but to be honest, I have mentioned my favorite above, but they are all just lovely and relatable, and you can feel the emotion in Michelle ...
