Thank you @HeatherJFitt for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Maman is a thriller genre. Which is about Ds Joanna Armstrong who is accused of hurting one of her twin babies face. This is a gripping novel and I did feel for DC Joanna a lot due to her being accused of hurting her child. I can image this must be an awful feeling, and you really feel for her character, and this comes out in the writing too. It's nice, she has a support from her friend and husband through this horrible time. Which is what you need. The writing is great and easy to get into and like I said above you can feel the emotion and tension coming out in the writing. You will not want to put it down had no clue on the plot twist which is always good because I keep guessing and got it completely wrong. The story holds your attention and makes you think about Post natal depression, what people go through. I was lucking I didn't have that. A great read. 4 stars Blurb Maman - a twisted

Nina character is quite weak and feeble, and there were times I wish she would stand up for her self against Chole and Gary. While I was reading The New Son I had my suspicious about Liam.Questions like Why come back now, is he the person Nina thinks he is. I felt I was questioning my self constantly to work out the characters and the plot. There is a good twist at the end that I didnt see coming. A good read 4 stars.
