Bad Magic and Whiskey by Melissa Jacobson

Thank you zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Bad Magic Whiskey is a historical fantasy genre. I really like the front cover; it’s very colorful and works really well with the title. When I read the blurb, I was hooked straight away, and I couldn’t wait to read this book. I found the writing style effortless to get into, and this is an entirely different read from what I normally read as well, so I was truly grateful to read something entirely different. This is the first book in the series, and I was hooked from the minute I read it, and I could not put it down, so I’m very excited for book 2. I really like the characters, and the narrator was Mick. She was a fantastic character, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her. I really liked the descriptions in the book and could really visualize it in my mind. The story is straightforward to get into, and I think you will be hooked from the minute you read it, because I was. Looking forward to book 5...

Love, grief, and more sex than Pinot is an easy book to get into from the start. I really liked the character Soho, and I kept reading the book wanting to know what happened to her. I also liked her as a character, and at times I really wanted to give her a hug because of the things that she was going through. This story is very moving and also made me laugh in a few places as well. The story is written at a great pace that you can keep up with, and you will definitely have a mixed bag of emotions reading this book, which is superb when that happens, I feel. I thoroughly enjoye...
