The story is about Sadie who has lost her Mum and Brother and now her grandma is ill. Sadie is a witch, and her family history are meant to be cursed and their relationships are cursed. This is a cute romance with plenty of magic for you. This is a cosy and Heartwarming read that will melt your heart. I like after each chapter that there are food recipes that will wet your appetite. I found this book to be very visual and could see it all in my head. I liked Sadie character, and it was nice to see her develop her throughout the book. The unfortunate side effects of heartbreak and magic is a great book to read to escape from yours and if you love magic you will love this. 4 stars. I love the three sister Martha, Geri and Helen they are brilliant characters, that keep you entertained through out the book. The story is about the three sisters who run small private detective agency in Glassgow. They have a client that gives them a lot of money to found out who her husband is having affaire with. Banking on Murder is brilliant book that made me laugh. I found this book very easy to read from start to finish. It was hard to put it down and I was sad when it ended. I Hope there is second book. The story is set at a good pace that roles you into the plot straight away. 5 stars. Bone Rites is about Kathryn Darling who is imprisoned in Holloway and is going to be hung for vengeance killing. I found Bone Rites very different read to what I normal read and is interesting read. Bone Rites is historical fiction that is set in a quick pace and is a dual timeline. I like that the book has some gothic elements running through the book and can be dark in places to which I enjoyed. Kathryn took me a while to like her and understand her but eventually I did like her character. I found the story to be engaging and did entertain me to the end. The ending was a bit of a shock, and I did not see that coming. Intriguing read 4 stars. I felt like I was going on roller coaster with Jess and James romance. James is Jess is first love and she see him again at wedding she is catering for. Jess has not seen him for 10 years and then her car breaks down and he offers to help her. This book is a light read that will take you away from your own life. I felt like I could really connect with Jess, and I did enjoy reading her story. Never ever getting back together is entertaining read that will leave a smile on you face when you finish reading it. The story about Penny who has three children, dog and husband. Penny seems to be struggling to juggle with everything at present especially now her mum is diagnosed with dementia. I felt for Penny immensely because of how she’s trying to cope with everything and wished I was there to help her through this. Reading The Mother of all problems I felt like Penny was a friend and I did care for her and Penny is a lovely character. It was lovely to see that she had her friends there for her. It was lovely to be back with Becky and see what she up to next. Becky is a child genius and is at uni and helps people with their problems. Becky is amazing ten-year-old with lots of talents. I do enjoy reading about her. The story is well written and very entertaining. Each book gets better and better each time. Becky will make you smile, and you will find it hard to put this book down. Starting over at Halesome is a very cute front cover. Makes me want to visit there. This is book 3 in the series. You can read it as a standalone like I did. The story is about Alice who is divorced from her husband and is starting her own business in horticulture. Alice meets a tree surgeon called Zac who also has a broken heart. I really enjoyed reading this story and I felt like I could relate to Alice because of her miscarriage. I felt for her and wanted to give her big hug. The characters are Fantastic, and I did like Zac dad Neil he is so lovely, and you can tell he really loves his son and wants him to being happy. Starting over at Halesome is a heartwarming read and a beautiful love story that will capture your heart. Cute story with some hard topics but Suzanna Snow deals with them really well. The story is about Rose who has two sisters, and they are triplets and Rose wants to find out about her background. I found Miss Rose and the Vexing Viscount to be a light read . I Enjoyed the characters and liked seeing them evolve and develop through the book. The story is at a good pace that keeps you hooked, and the setup of the story gets you ready for book 2. This story will have you laughing out loud. It did make me giggle in places. Friends with benefits is the third book in the series. You can read it as a standalone as I did but I will go and find the other two. There is two narrators in the story: Jake who lives in London and has made arrangement with house mate Jess for no strings arrangement, just friends and fun. The story is at a good pace and is beautifully written. I found it very difficult to put down in a good way. I found The Curse of Moonseed Manor easy to get into and is ghostly and gothic story that i thoroughly enjoyed and is a great Halloween read. The story is about Wren who has not had the greatest life and then gets a job at Moonseed Manor but is not all as it seems. This is a great suspense novel and is written very well. There is a great amount of creepy and spookiness running through the book. I loved how it kept me guessing. Fantastic read that hooked me in straight the way. 5 stars. Lost girls of Kato is a psychosocial thriller that I listen to by audio. The narrator is Rachanee Lumayno who I thoroughly enjoyed listening to. The audio book is 6 hours and 44 minutes long. The story is set in 1986 and is about Jackie who is 12 years old, and her family life is not the greatest. Jackie meets J.R who is slightly older than her and his father is a detective. JR talks to Jackie about missing girls who is dad is trying to help find. Then the story goes to 2018 about Sterling who is 32 years old. There was a good amount of twists flowing through Lost girls of Kato. I felt like I was on eggshells reading this book because I had no clue what was going to happen. This is the second book in the series, but you can read it as a standalone like I did. This story is short and snappy which I liked. The story about De Vinci and his friends that help him to uncover a murder. Something like Murder is well written and at a fast pace which is what you want for a short read. I love there is a talking cat in this book which it makes the story even more enjoyable. The characters are likable and seemed to be very well developed. I lost my best friend to cancer year ago, so I did find this hard to read because I was thinking of her, and she went through. I am glad I have read this book because it has educated me, and it was interesting to hear other people cancer story’s and how having cancer made them feel. The Voices of Cancer has great advice for people suffering with cancer or just for friends and family who are supporting loved ones to read. I wish this was available when my friend was alive. I found this The Patient to be intriguing read that I could not put down. I needed to know more about James and why he was a patient. You can read it as a series or a standalone which is what I did. The story about Ameila who 17 years old who flies and goes to different times and place through her dreams. I found Bright Midnight to be intriguing and fascinating read which had a great twist in the book. I like Ameila as a character and wish I could fly and visit different place sin my dreams. This is a magic/ crime genre which will grip you. The story is set in London in 1938 and is about Edmund Ibbs who is a lawyer and has a new client who accused of shoot her husband. There is some great twists and turns that flow through the book. The story is at fast pace which will keep you glued to the book. I must admit I love Victoria Williamson's books. I was so glad that I could be part of the Feast of Ashes tour. This is a fascinating book and I was pulled into Adina's world who lives in the Year 2123 and she has accidentally killed 14,756 people. This is the first sentence of the book. I was Hooked I needed to know what 16-year-old Adina had done. I did like Adina and found her to be reckless and fearless. All she wants is to have a happy family but that does not seem to be happening. Adina lives in Eden 5 which is a dome. I found this to be a powerful and gripping read that draws you into Adina's World. I have found Victoria Williams's books are very different and she talks about different topics to other fiction books and I do love this. Can't wait for more. A fantastic book 5 stars. Poor Ellie is shown a missing picture of her 3 years old but hes not missing he with her. I love the twists that are in the book. There is a great amount of suspense that runs through the book.
