The story is about Sadie who has lost her Mum and Brother and now her grandma is ill. Sadie is a witch, and her family history are meant to be cursed and their relationships are cursed. This is a cute romance with plenty of magic for you. This is a cosy and Heartwarming read that will melt your heart. I like after each chapter that there are food recipes that will wet your appetite. I found this book to be very visual and could see it all in my head. I liked Sadie character, and it was nice to see her develop her throughout the book. The unfortunate side effects of heartbreak and magic is a great book to read to escape from yours and if you love magic you will love this. 4 stars.
