Bone Rites is about Kathryn Darling who is imprisoned in Holloway and is going to be hung for vengeance killing. I found Bone Rites very different read to what I normal read and is interesting read. Bone Rites is historical fiction that is set in a quick pace and is a dual timeline. I like that the book has some gothic elements running through the book and can be dark in places to which I enjoyed. Kathryn took me a while to like her and understand her but eventually I did like her character. I found the story to be engaging and did entertain me to the end. The ending was a bit of a shock, and I did not see that coming. Intriguing read 4 stars. This is the first book I have read by Natlie Bayle and I did like her writing style and I will be looking for more of her books in the future. Blurb “I collected the first bone when I was twelve...   Penelope’s Purple Passion is a beautiful poetry  book that I fell in love with straight away. As soon as I open the book I could not stop reading and normal I like some Poe more than others but I can say this about Penelope poetry I loved them all the same. Her writing grab me from the first word.  The poetry about love , loss  and passion. I love the front colour it has my favourite colour and a butterflys. Penelope is telling her poetry through a butterfly . I definitely recommend this book and would love to read more of her poetry. The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written. The illustrations are amazing and great fantasy. The story is at a great pace and love adventure running through the book 5 stars.
