The Nest by Conrad Jones

Thank you @zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Nest is book 1 in the series and is horror genre. The story set in 2025 and there are homeless people are disappearing, and the rats are not what they seem. The Nest is differently not for the faint-hearted. From the first page I was hooked it’s definitely a page turner. The story is gruesome and dark from start to finish which I did enjoy. I don’t like rats at all, so this book made me hate them even more. I do like Conrad Jones is writing style and his descriptions you can really visualize it in your head. There is a great amount of suspense and tension running through the book. The Nest is excellent horror book that keeps you on tenterhooks all the way through the book. 5 stars. Bio Conrad Jones spent 12 years working for the biggest quick service restaurant brand in the world. On March 20th 1993 the IRA terrorist organization bombed the shopping center outside the restaurant he was managing that day. The experience fueled an interest in the root causes of extremist terrorists and the reasoning why its perpetrators feel justified in taking innocent lives. That incident sparked the story of 'Soft Target'. 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 🔗 Connect with Conrad Facebook https://www.facebook.com/conrad.jones.397 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/conradjones3/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@conradjones348 X (formerly Twitter) https://x.com/ConradJones Website https://conrad-jones-merchandise.myspreadshop.co.uk/ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 ♡ 🐾 🔗 Book Links Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/234720241-the-nest-new-york Purchase Link: https://mybook.to/thenest-zbt Featured Book The 36th novel from acclaimed author Conrad Jones It’s 2025. Beneath the glittering towers of Manhattan, something is stirring in the dark. Homeless people are vanishing from the forgotten subway tunnels, their absence buried beneath bureaucracy and political indifference. Garbage trucks sit idle in picket lines. The nutrias, huge water rats—once bred for fur—are now being bred for something far worse. Carnage. Larger. Smarter. Organized. Hungry... As the city teeters on the edge of chaos, the truth begins to emerge: this is no infestation. This is an invasion
