Retired Assassin’s Guide to Orchid Hunting

Thank you @rararesources For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The retired assassin’s guide to orchard hunting is a cozy mystery genre and is book two in the series. I haven’t read book one, and I kind of wish I did because at the beginning of this book I was struggling with who the characters were and what was going on; I feel like I missed some vital things. So I will definitely go back and read book one. The story is about Dante, who lives in a small town in New Zealand and wants to be left alone, and something happens that he has to try to find out what it is. The story took me a little while to get into, but once I got into it, I did enjoy it. The story is written beautifully and has some superb characters in the story. I did like Dante's character a lot; he did make me smile. I like the plot, and it is a very intriguing, entertaining read. Furthermore, I like the twists and turns in the book, which I didn’t see coming at all. A good read that made me smile and entertained me to the end of the book. I will undoubtedly go back and read the first book. 4 stars he Retired Assassin’s Guide to Orchid Hunting Assassin. Gardener. Reluctant cat adoptee. All Dante wants is to be left alone in the small New Zealand town no one’s heard of. No drama. No bodies. No questions. But then, of course, the orchid convention comes to town, and Dante is knee deep in suspects, intrigue, and red herrings. On top of all this, Dante must navigate a mysterious woman from his past, cat issues, and the terrifying prospect of a first date. And he has to do it while fighting his instinct to solve problems the old-fashioned way: permanently. The ‘Retired Assassin’s Guide to Orchid Hunting ’is a cosy paranormal mystery with found family, ghosts, a grumpy assassin and a sunshine gardener. Come for the murder, stay for the cat, the gardens, and the New Zealand country charm.
