The Wandering of Umbra by Alexander Linton

Thank you @Re_AlexanderLinton @LoveBooksTours For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Wandering of Umbra has a fabulous front cover, which is the reason I wanted to read it. I loved the descriptions in the book; they made me see what’s happening in my mind better. I find that for me, from the first page, I was hooked until the end. Umbra life seems so peaceful from the start, even though they have to work hard where they live, but then they find they are struggling because there’s not a lot of food around and other things are happening that are not for the good. The Wandering of Umbra is a very entertaining read and did pull at my heartstrings in places, and I was addicted to the story because I needed to know what was going to happen. Very different read from what I normally read, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like fantasy, then this book is for you. Beautifully written, 5 stars. Blurb A storm. A shadow in the rain. A death. When the fog arrived, everything changed. On a remote island ravaged by famine, the old cling to beliefs they’ve come to resent, while the young bear the weight of vanishing futures. All live in fear of what lurks in the fog. A chilling story of survival, fading faith, and the quiet terror of the unknown. Author bio Alexander Linton was born in South London, England His work encompasses genres such as fantasy, science fiction, horror, and psychological fiction. He is a traveller, and he writes his novels, graphic novels, short stories and video games all over the world.
