For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Sound of Violet has a gorgeous front cover. I’ve been wanting to read this book for absolutely ages, and it did not let me down. The story is engaging from start to finish, and I read it in two days. The story is about Shawn, who really wants to find a girlfriend and struggles to find one. Then Shawn meets Violet who has her own dark secrets . I really like both characters very much and have a soft spot for both of them. The story is written beautifully, and it will tug at your heartstrings all the way through. The book deals with some really hard themes, but the author deals with them very well. I haven’t watched the film, but after reading the book, I definitely want to, but I think I’ll prefer the book better. An incredible read that you won’t be able to put down, and you will be sad to see it end. Five stars.

Allen Wolf is an award-winning storyteller who creates novels, films, and games. His debut novel, The Sound of Violet, inspired him to write, direct, and produce its movie adaptation, continuing a filmmaking career that began with the worldwide release of his thriller, In My Sleep, which garnered multiple film festival awards.
