The Midwife in the Middle by Jennifer Drewett

Thank you @zooloosBT for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Midwife in the middle is a suspense romance genre that is 152 pages, and I read this in one day. I find the story a bit slow to start with, but once I got into the story, I was engrossed. The story is about Tegan, who is a midwife and just got out of a relationship and moves back home to a new job, but it does not turn out well. I liked Tegan as a person and loved her friends, and I felt genuinely sorry for her due to what she was going through. I didn’t see what would happen at the end, and I was shocked, but I feel this was the right thing to do. The story flows well and is written elegantly. I like there is a certain amount of suspense and tension in the book; it did keep me on the edge of my seat. I would love there to be a second book to see what happens to Tegan next. An enjoyable read. 5 stars. Bio Jennifer Drewett is a 35 year old writer based in Brighton, East Sussex. A Cardiff-born, Bristol- raised woman who works part time in the NHS.
