@LoveBooksTours for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book.
Exiles Incorporated is a historical genre that have 12 short stories. The cover is beautiful and stands out. I found this an intriguing read and liked all the stories, and they were all very different from each other. The stories are written very elegantly and researched well, this comes across in the book very well. If you like history genre and short stories, this book is definitely for you. Looking forward to reading more from Philip Parrish in the future. 4 stars.

Welcome to a collection of historical short stories like no other, spanning ancient Greece to medieval Cairo, first-century Peru to the Belgian Congo, shogunate Japan to 1960s Los Angeles, and dawn-of-creation Australia to modern-day Britain.
Through twelve evocative tales of longing and loss, Exiles Incorporated depicts a volatile world of hostile landscapes, where humans strive to belong amid the cruelty of conquest, the madness of desire and the transience of love.
Aimed at mature, intelligent lovers of historical literary fiction, Exiles Incorporated is a series of epiphany narratives which dramatise how the powers of nature and the powers of the spirit collide to create searing moments of personal transformation.
The stories explore the human condition from childhood to old age, sweeping through six continents and fifteen countries, blending the mystical and the macabre, the fantastical with full-blooded horror.
