The Next Step by B R Maycock

Thank you @rararesources and @BRMaycock forletting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Next Step is Book 3 in the series, but you can read as a standalone as I did. The next Step is Christmas/ romance read which is a lovely read leading up to Christmas. There are two Narratives in the story Rachel and Natalie. Rachel going out with Todd, and she thinks she is pregnant, but she is not, its due to her blood pressure, but she realizes her relationship with Todd is not going well. Then there Natalie who has two children and her ex-boyfriend returns . Both ladies need a change in there life. The story is written well, and it was interesting getting to know both characters and following there ups and down. I feel I liked Rachel better and was more hooked to her when I was reading from her point of view more than ,don't know why, I just did . This is a very quick read which won't take you long to read. I read in a day. This is a lovely and heart-warming read 4 star. Blurb Christmas has been all but forgotten as a negative pregnancy test makes Rachel reconsider her future with Todd. Thank you @strangelymagic and @neemtreepress for letting me review this book. War of the wind is 220 pages snd is you g adukt fiction. I really enjoyed reading this book and felt like ot held my attention to the end. I really like the characters my favourite where Max, Beanie and Erin. I love the plot with the evil Doctor Asheood and the wind turbines. It was lovely to see Max develop and start to accept his disabiliny and for Max to have the strengh to tell his dad how he felt about him not communicate with him. My heart did go out to dad ehen i found out why. It did make me sad in places but its great read and gripped me. I slso liked hid uncle and twister. I feel young adults will love this story its diffent and its grest suspence.

The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written. The illustrations are amazing and great fantasy. The story is at a great pace and love adventure running through the book 5 stars. I love the front cover its very eye catching witch would make me pick up to read the blurb. I like the title to. I found hanging out very instresting read its very true how people lost on technology and how we lost the connections in the real world since covid. I found it difficult and awakard going to social situations not knowing what to say or woundering if people want me there all because we been locjed away. I like how Sheila highlights her importance for us to hang out togther and how socialsing has changed through the years. Hanging out is written well and easy to get into and the topic is well researched. 4 stars. The digital age has consumed us.
