Angels & Stars by Stephanie Wood

Thank you @hyggebooktours @thecloseseries @stephaniewooduk for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Angels and Stars has a cute and Christmas feel to the cover which is lovely. This is book 8 in the series, and you can read as a standalone as I have. Angels and Stars is a holiday genre. The story is about Denise and Greg who are married and are trying to be there for supportive to their daughter Charlotte And its about how they all celebrate Christmas different from each other. The story is written well, and I found it very engaging . It is a cosy and festive read that will get you into the Christmas spirt. Angles and Stars is very quick read that you could read in one setting. I did like the characters and I felt like they were family. They seem a lovely family. A lovely story 5 stars. Author Bio I write contemporary fiction in the form of novels, novellas and short stories. I have two series of linked standalone stories; one is a collection of Greek holiday reads called Aegean Sun and the other is Christmas on the Close which is set in a suburban cul-de-sac and reveals what is happening in each of the neighbours’ houses over the festive period. I live in Lancashire where I have a large garden which takes a lot of maintenance, but I also enjoy reading lots of different genres and watching the soaps Emmerdale and Neighbours because I love character-based stories. Book Title: ANGELS AND STARS (Christmas on The Close, Book 8) Book Blurb: You are invited to spend CHRISTMAS ON THE CLOSE where each of the neighbours are celebrating in their own special way. Denise and Greg are very supportive of their daughter, Charlotte, as she competes in the regular dance pageants in the local area, but they begin to disagree when an opportunity to attend some larger events abroad becomes a possibility. Charlotte loves dancing almost as much as she loves her dog, Justin, but is she really interested in taking her hobby any further, or is she simply giving in to her mother’s wishes? More to the point, does she even have the talent to compete at such a high level? The eighth standalone episode of ‘Christmas on The Close’ reveals how an unfulfilled dream for one member of the family can lead to difficult decisions for the others.
