The Fiance by Rona Halsall

Thank you @rararesources and @RonaHalsallAuth for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Fiancé is psychological thriller genre which is my favourite genre and this book did not let me down. It was gripping from start to finish, and I had idea what was going to happen but was wrong each time. Love it when that happens. The story is about Anna who is a grieving widow who blames the surgeon (Theo) for the death of her husband (Ollie) and Anna wants Theo to pay for what he has done to her, but it is not that simple. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster reading The fiancé and there are some great twists and turns through the book. I liked Anna a lot and felt connected to her and felt sorry for her due to her being lost in her grief and wanted a vengeance, but there were times I didn't know which other characters to trust like her friend from the gym she seemed ok, but I was never sure and was questioning her motives, and I was unsure of Theo at times to. The Fiancé is a fast pace and a very addictive read and when you finish you will go wow what ending. 5 stars. Brilliant Blurb He killed my husband. Now I’ve promised to be his wife. After my first husband died, I thought my heart was completely broken, and that I’d never feel happy again. Until I met Theo. He’s a doctor. A man who seems good and caring and kind. Soon after we start dating, he says he wants to marry me. And even though his grown-up children are less sure about me, to everyone else it’s the second chance for love and happiness I deserve. But the truth is maybe his children are right to be suspicious. Because I know something about Theo. That he was there in the operating theatre the day my first husband died. And I think it was his fault. Am I in exactly the right place for revenge? Or am I living with a killer? A pulse-pounding cat-and-mouse psychological thriller, full of the most jaw-dropping twists and turns. Perfect for fans of K.L.
