One Summer by Taylor Cole

Thank you, @rararesources and @AriaFiction for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. This book definitely has a summer feel due to the title and the front cover. The characters are Lindy who has moved to the island to have fresh start of life and then there is Caleb who is a professional surfer and had an accident so is trying to get over that. One Summer is an engaging light read that is perfect for the summer holidays. I liked Caleb and Linday a lot, and they are very cute and adorable people that just want to trust someone and find love. It was a pleasure to follow them getting to know each other and dealing with their trust issues. Not heard of Taylor Cole before, but definitely have now and will be looking out for more due to me enjoying her writing style and her plot which was at enjoyable. One summer took me away from my own busy world to this beautiful Island with lovely people. Fabulous read 5 stars. Two people. Two pasts. One summer to fall in love. Caleb is a former professional surfer trying to build his life after a career-ending accident. Lindy has moved to Loor island to start a new life, combing the shores for sea glass to weave into jewelry. When the two meet, sparks fly – but not the good kind. Then they discover they’re neighbours, and they’re stuck with each other for one, long summer. As they slowly learn to trust each other, and find themselves sharing their stories that brought them to Loor, their dislike begins to unravel into friendship, then maybe something more. But will the weight of their pasts ruin their chance of a future?
