The story about Kate who has lost her job and divorced from her husband. Kate goes to Gull Island for a fresh start and meets Luke who is not sure on new people and want to help and protect the community. I was lost in the romance between Kate and Luke and loved their story. It is a heart-warming read that will leave a warm fuzzy feeling after reading this book. I read this book in two days and is very easy to get into. The front cover has warm and bright feeling to it and the name works well. Infinite Strange is a contemporary romance genre . The story is set in 1978 and is about Leah who is 18 years old and is about Leah and Mum relationship and the choices they have to make. I found Infinite Strange a very emotional read, is written beautifully and holds your attention till the end. I liked Wendy Skorupski descriptions thought out the book and I could visualize them in my head. Wendy Skorupski writing style is very different from other authors I have read and it's unique. I was drawn to the story straight away and found the story easy to get into. The story is set at a good pace, and you will feel like you been on rollercoaster of emotions after reading this book. I read Selection in a day, and I was hooked to the book from the first chapter. This book is not very long 96 pages, and you can read it in a day like I did. Searchlight The Rock is a wonderful story that young teenagers with love and its science fiction adventure which makes it more appealing to young teenager. The story is well paced and enjoyable read. I like the front cover it has a calming feel to it looking at the lighthouse and the sea. This story is engaging and I loved the descriptions in the book it made it real in my mind. This is not the first book I have read from Paula Hillman and I do enjoy her writing style and her characters. Every Breath you take is psychological thriller that is at very fast-paced which is great and you wont be able to put it down. There is a great amount of suspense running through the book and there were many times where I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation. The story about Eva husband Samuel does not come home, and she finds out he has met someone else but then she receives a photo of a knife to his neck. Every Breath you Take is a page turner that will hook you from the minute you pick up the book. The story is written well with great characters and amazing twists and turns . Jumping Hurdles is a children's book for children between 5- 9 years old, The story is about Bea who has been diagnosed with dyspraxia. What a beautiful book that is about friendship, dyspraxia and understanding your self. I could relate to Bea a lot and how she was worried about sports day and being picked last. I have dyspraxia and I used to get picked last and could not catch the ball and trip over my own feet. Furthermore, I totally understand how Bea felt, and hopefully this book will help other children who have dyspraxia or children who do not have it may understand it bit better. This is a cute book with lovely illustrations and important plot: that it is not always important to win its about taking part and being there for your friends. The main character Mani who is 12 years old, and she has lost her family and community due to a deadly force being unleashed. The story is very easy to get into and flows very well, and I was soon flicking through the pages. The illustrations are amazing that are scattered through the book and work very well with the story. The front cover is great and I love the title it works brilliant together. The story is set at fast pace which is great because you get hooked straight the way and I was totally invested in the book and could not put down. The Croaking Raven is book 1 in the series and is a thriller. I am big fan of Guy Hale and was very happy when I got approved to read The croaking Raven for the read along. I read this book in a day and absolutely loved it. It did make me very hungry while reading this book. Guy Hale is an excellent writer and has done it again with this book. The story is set in London, Africa, Europe, and the US . I liked it was set at different places and the characters were likeable and liked how they developed through the book. I like the front cover its dark and I get a mystique feel to it. The book is about Seb who is the main character, and it's his last day working in Turkey, but he finds out his friend Oz has been cursed. Seb has to try to help his friend. I enjoyed following Seb on his quest and I did find the story was creepy and dark in places which is great. The story is at a fast pace, but you will be able to follow it straight the way. I do enjoy it when a book is at a fast-paced , I feel you are more hooked to the storyline and unable to put down which was the case with Shadow of the Hidden. The characters are Lindy who has moved to the island to have fresh start of life and then there is Caleb who is a professional surfer and had an accident so is trying to get over that. One Summer is an engaging light read that is perfect for the summer holidays. I liked Caleb and Linday a lot, and they are very cute and adorable people that just want to trust someone and find love. It was a pleasure to follow them getting to know each other and dealing with their trust issues. Meet me in Ivy Falls is a romance genre that is set in a small village in Ivy Falls and the two narratives are Torran who is putting all her effort in house restoration and trying to help the identity of the village come alive then the second narrative is Beck who left Ivy falls due to trauma and loss and use to go out with Torran, but now he is back. This is book 3 of the series, but you can read as a standalone as I did. This story is about Daisy and her biggest adventure . The themes in the book, are friendship, family and relationships. Blue Skies Over the Wildflower Lock is a chilling read that you can read on the beach or in the garden. I enjoyed the characters Daisy and Theo who are in relationship together, and he works away a lot . I loved following there relationship and if it would work or not. The poetry is in four parts about different types of pain. I love the front cover it has my favourite Flowers, Roses. The poetry is beautifully written and nearly all the poetry is quite short, but you will enjoy them straight the way. I read this book in one sitting, but it's poetry you can keep coming back to. I have to be honest I enjoyed all the poetry, and they were heartfelt, emotional, and moving read. Furthermore, I found her words to be meaningful and moving 5 stars. Blurb The Mother is a psychological thriller that is addictive from the first chapter that kept me guessing all the way through, and I was on my edge of my seat reading the Mother. There are different stories for you to enjoy and come back to time and time again. I enjoyed reading Wink, that has a spin on classic children's stories. I liked all the stories, but they were a couple that were my favourite, and it was good that all the authors have different written styles that entertain me a lot and made me kept reading. The front cover is unusual and different, which made me drawn to the book even more. If you enjoy classic children stories with a twist, this book is definitely for you. They are all written exceedingly well with great plots. Awesome read 4 stars. The stories i enjoyed where: The Monster at the end of this story by Alethra Kontis snd Chlors Cabin by Tsra Gilboy.
