War Bunny is book 1 in the series and is Fantasy genre and anyone from the age of 13 years upwards will adore this book. I absolutely love the front cover, It's very pretty with the rabbit and the flowers on her. War Bunny reminders me a little of Watership Down, which is a fabulous film and book. I think War Bunny is right up there with Watership down. There are quite a few narratives in the book which I liked hearing from the other animals, prospective. It was very easy to get into War Bunny and it is definitely a page turner. If you love rabbits and animals, this book is for you. I felt like I was going on an adventure with the rabbits. The story made me smile and was touching at times. My favourite character was Anastasia, how brave she is, and I found she would challenge the elders by asking them questions that they don't like and get exiled for her opinion. . Amazing read that has a fantastic plot and is at a good pace that you can keep up with . Engrossing read 5 stars. In a post-apocalyptic world where humans are extinct and animals thrive, a young rabbit starts to wonder why rabbits must accept their status as prey animals. She asks pointed questions of the warren elders, and gets exiled for it. Without a warren, she's enormously vulnerable, but she reaches out to others in desperate straits. Soon, she's locked in a ferocious battle for survival—and maybe even freedom.
