The Blood Promise by Liz Mistry

Thank you @rararesouces and @LizMistryAuthor for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Blood Promise is a crime thriller and is book 1 in the series. The story set in Scotland and a 16-year-old wakes up to find her parents are dead. Two Detectives Jazzy and Annie Mcqueen join the investigation and when they get deeper in to the investigation Jazzy connects dots between her and the people that are dead. Intriguing and gripping read that will hook you to the end. I did like Jazzy and Queenie, they seem to work well together, and I did find Queenie funny at times with some of her the things she does throughout the book. The Blood Promise hooks you in from the first page, and I enjoyed hearing from the killer point of view because you found out more about them and why they are doing this. I felt I was very invested in this book and needed to know what will happen at the end. There are some great twists and turns, and the writing is written well. A thrilling read with Fabulous Characters and if you like crime genre this book for you. 5 stars The Blood Promise A deadly gift Imogen Clark wakes up on her 16th birthday to find her parents dead at the breakfast table, along with a message from their killer. Jazzy shares the same birthday as Imogen, and believes that this is more than a coincidence.
