The Girl She Left Behind by Jo Bartlett

Thank you @rararesourcse for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Girl she left behind is coming of age genre. Wow, this is an exceedingly amazing read. I had so many emotions reading this book. It is a powerful story that will pull at your heart strings. An outstanding read that you will not be able to put down. The story is beautifully written, and I was engrossed from the start to the end. The story is about Phoebe who did not have a great upbringing because of her Mum and her sister Chloe it left a mark on them, to the point Chloe let there home town but Lucy end up staying. Lucy goes missing and Phoebe has to come back to look after her niece Darcy and is trying to find her sister but also has to deal with her Mum again. This is the first time I read anything by Jo Bartlett before, but I will be defiantly reading her again. The girl she left behind had some difficult topics in the book, but Jo Barlett dealt with them very well. I fell in love with the charcters, Darcy, Phoebe, and her neighbour. I did not like her mum at all. Furthermore, I strongly recommend this book, it did not take me long to read at all. The ending made me cry, but complete understand why it ended like that.
