The Lost Heir by Jane Cable

Thank you @rararesources and @JaneCable for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Lost Heir has lovely descriptions that flow throughout the book that I enjoyed and I could really visualise the cornish coast. The story is set in Cornwall in 2020 and than 1810 in Cornwall. The story is about Carla who is a teacher during the covid years who starts to research her family history and then there is Harriet who is companion to Lady Frances Basset but they are secretly lovers in 1810 it all fits together very well with the present. There is a supernatural twist to The Lost Heir that I did enjoy immensely. This is an enchanting story that is written exceedingly well. My Favourite character was Harriet and I enjoyed reading about her and her love affair and their story which has plenty of issues due to Frances being pregnant. Enjoyable story that would make a great summer read. 5 stars. Blurb The Lost Heir Cornwall, 2020 At the beginning of lockdown, teacher Carla Burgess needs to make some changes to her life.
