Bad Men by Julie Mae Cohen

Image
Thank you @ZaffreBooks for letting me read this book. Bad Men is an incredible read that made me laugh all the way through. I Liked Saffy a lot even though she is a serial killer she was a fantastic and a bit insane character but she was brilliant. I also liked Johnathan a lot and did feel sorry for him because he spilt up with his wife and things don't go too well for him until Saffy turns up. Johnathan writes books and does a podcast on the criminals he looks into. Bad Men is a dark and fast-paced read and if you want a light read then this book is for you. The story is written well and I found it engaging from the first page. You will absolutely love this book, it is totally different from anything I read. Bad men is a pageturner and you will not be able to put it down. Can't read to read more by Julie Mae Cohen in the future. 5 stars. Blurb Saffy has a secret. A secret that she is deeply ashamed of. It's not the fact that she's a serial killer in her free time. I...

Wildflower by Monique Mulligan

Image
Thank you @Bloodhoundbook for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Wildflower is a very powerful and emotional read and I am glad I got to read it. The story is set in the past and about Jane's childhood as a 10-year-old who is bulled and with no friends who eventually a new family, moves in and Jane meets her best friend Acacia and then goes to the present where they are adults going through an abusive relationship. Wildflower is a Psycholocal thriller and the ending was not the person I thought was narrating in the present. I was shocked but it then all made sense. Wildflower is a gripping read that I read in a day, I could not put it down. I loved Jane and her family they were such a nice family that went through their own family dramas. There is some tough topic running through the book, abuse, love, bullying, relationships and many more. This is the first book I have read By Monique Mulligan and her writing g is brilliant and beautifully written. I st...
