This is book 1 in the series, and I found it to be lighthearted and easygoing. I liked the character Lucy who has a medical diagnosis that came unexpectedly and then goes on holiday to rest in the countryside. This is a beautiful read and loved following Lucy and the animals on the farm story. This is the first book I have read by Laura Briggs and I Found it entertaining and enjoyed her style of writing. I felt very relaxed after reading The Liama Farm on a new moon. 5 stars The Llama Farm on New Moon Lane Young and quiet, Lucy Granger leads an introverted life in Reading, living in a flat and working in design at a graphics company—until it is upended when she both sells her idea for a mobile game and suffers an unexpected medical diagnosis shortly afterwards. Facing a mandated medical rest period, she decides to use her windfall earnings to take a year's holiday, renting a farm on New Moon Lane in a country village in Yorkshire. As Lucy settles into her holiday home for some tranquility, she soon learns that she is not the only tenant, when a llama named Llarry strolls out of the farm's supposedly-derelict barn. He is shortly followed by others in a menagerie of abandoned animals left behind—from a sickly donkey who likes eating crisps to a flirtatious cockerel sleeping in the back garden. To Lucy's consternation, no one is willing or able to take them on, leaving her with a strange mix of furry and feathered friends to find homes for. Reluctantly adapting to her circumstances in order to deal with this problem, Lucy will discover other surprises about the animals in her care, and the place she is temporarily calling home. Thank you @strangelymagic and @neemtreepress for letting me review this book. War of the wind is 220 pages snd is you g adukt fiction. I really enjoyed reading this book and felt like ot held my attention to the end. I really like the characters my favourite where Max, Beanie and Erin. I love the plot with the evil Doctor Asheood and the wind turbines. It was lovely to see Max develop and start to accept his disabiliny and for Max to have the strengh to tell his dad how he felt about him not communicate with him. My heart did go out to dad ehen i found out why. It did make me sad in places but its great read and gripped me. I slso liked hid uncle and twister. I feel young adults will love this story its diffent and its grest suspence.

The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written. The illustrations are amazing and great fantasy. The story is at a great pace and love adventure running through the book 5 stars. I love the front cover its very eye catching witch would make me pick up to read the blurb. I like the title to. I found hanging out very instresting read its very true how people lost on technology and how we lost the connections in the real world since covid. I found it difficult and awakard going to social situations not knowing what to say or woundering if people want me there all because we been locjed away. I like how Sheila highlights her importance for us to hang out togther and how socialsing has changed through the years. Hanging out is written well and easy to get into and the topic is well researched. 4 stars. The digital age has consumed us.
