Penitent is a great read that I found easy to get into from page 1. The story gripped me from the get-go. The story is set in Edinburgh and is about Hector who is a lawyer who has been asked to deal with a highly sensitive case that causes Hector some difficulties and challenges to his career. I did enjoy following Hector's story and did feel for him at times. I was on the edge of my seat while reading Penitent just a fantastic read. Very different to what I normally read, there is a good amount of suspense running through the book. This is the first book I have read by Mark Leggatt but I will be reading more in the future. 5 stars a brilliant read with a great plot and characters. Blurb Justice can be outwith the law.   Penelope’s Purple Passion is a beautiful poetry  book that I fell in love with straight away. As soon as I open the book I could not stop reading and normal I like some Poe more than others but I can say this about Penelope poetry I loved them all the same. Her writing grab me from the first word.  The poetry about love , loss  and passion. I love the front colour it has my favourite colour and a butterflys. Penelope is telling her poetry through a butterfly . I definitely recommend this book and would love to read more of her poetry. The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written. The illustrations are amazing and great fantasy. The story is at a great pace and love adventure running through the book 5 stars.
