Emergence by Guy Portman

By Emma Fitzgerald -
Thank you @randomTTours and @guyportman for being part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Emergence is a dark read and is fourth book in the seris. This is the first book i have read by Guy Portman and you can read it as a standalone like i did. The Emergence is very dark and the story is about Horatio who is a sociopath and hates his step dad and will do anything to get read of him. The story is well written and i will definatly read the rest of the seris. The story draws you in and you have to get to the rnd to see what happends 4 stars. ABOUT GUY PORTMAN I have always been an introverted creature with an insatiable appetite for knowledge, and a sardonic sense of humour. Throughout a childhood in London spent watching cold war propaganda gems such as He Man, an adolescence confined in various institutions, and a career that has encompassed stints in academic research and the sports industry, I have been a keen if somewhat cynical social observer. Like the author, the protagonist in 'The Necropolis Series' is a darkly humorous individual – though, unlike the author, he is a sociopath. 'Mangetout' contains three sharp, shocking and suspenseful stories. 'The Gazebo' consists of two turbulent romps that merge domestic disaster with caustic comedy. 'Tomorrow's World' is a satirical book of vignettes about the future. 'Symbiosis', was published in German by Festa Verlag (Summer 2021).

It was lovely to see Max develop and start to accept his disabiliny and for Max to have the strengh to tell his dad how he felt about him not communicate with him. My heart did go out to dad ehen i found out why. It did make me sad in places but its great read and gripped me. I slso liked hid uncle and twister. Thank you @Dreamheadz . @KellyALacey and @lovebookstours for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Fish King and the Two Wise Ghosts is a children's book that is 58 pages long. This is a cute children's book about the Fish King who feels lonely and wants to find a family he eventually finds Lisa but he has to introduce them to the Ghosts. The illustrations are good and children will like them and they work well with the writing. There is good rhyming throughout the book which children will like. There are two different stories in the book which children will like. The Fish King and the two wise ghosts are out now and I think children will love reading this with their parents. 4 stars. Blurb Two fish tales in one! The Fish King is lonely and wishes he has a wife to keep him company.
