 ** spoiler alert ** I was really looking forward to the book because I love the film but I found there where a few things the same in the book. The story was about two girls growing up with there grandmothers . Sally falls in love and has two children but something happens and she moved away. To try give her children life without witch craft. Gilles moves away but comes back when she’s in trouble. Wanting Sally help and the story goes on about how they all get on.

I enjoyed the book but I like the film better. I give this book 4 stars.

  Penelope’s Purple Passion is a beautiful poetry  book that I fell in love with straight away. As soon as I open the book I could not stop reading and normal I like some Poe more than others but I can say this about Penelope poetry I loved them all the same. Her writing grab me from the first word.  The poetry about love , loss  and passion. I love the front colour it has my favourite colour and a butterflys. Penelope is telling her poetry through a butterfly . I definitely recommend this book and would love to read more of her poetry. The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written.
