Thank you @KellyALacey @lovebookstours #Ad #LBTCrew #BookTwitter #FreeReview #FreeBookReview #ReadAlong For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Empathist is a thriller genre. I was so happy to be part of the read along, and I am sad it has ended. The Empathist is about Amy, who is 30 years old and has a great career, but no one knows she is running from her past, and she’s trying hard not to remember. The Empathist hooks you into its story straight the way to the point where you cannot put it down. I found this to be an interesting and fascinating read that kept me on my toes all the way through. I love how I was guessing all the way throughout the book and kept changing my mind what, I thought, was going to happen, and I was so wrong. Furthermore, I love the twists and turns in the book, I felt like I was on a roll coaster of ride while I was reading Empathist. Fantastically written. 5 stars. Blurb To the outside world, Amy has it all—her own home,...

Cordial Convictions by Kateri Stanley

Image
Thank you @zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Cordial Convictions is book 2, but you can read as a standalone, as I did. This is the thriller genre. The story is written from different points of view, which I thoroughly enjoyed and felt like I got to know the characters better, and it all linked in well. The story is about Marcus, whose son Greg took a weapon to work and killed several people. Marcus was a health professional and did not see his son struggling and has found this difficult, and now he is in a Barbary hospital suffering from amnesia. I found Cordial Convictions sad at times and has great suspense running through the book. I liked how the story went from present to past, it worked very well and is a thrilling read. The story is written elegantly, and I enjoyed the description and detail of Kateri Stanley's writing.
