#Ad #LBTCrew #BookTwitter for letting me be part if this tour and reviewing this book. Butterflies: the many lives of Lucia Porter has a beautiful front cover and is beautiful written. I found the story straightforward to read, and I did connect with the characters straight away. The story about Lucia who is brought up in a Catholic Church until she goes to university and meets Harry who is very different from her. Lucia has a sister who’s up bringing very different from hers, and I like the relationship they have together. Then Lucia loses her newborn son and is struggling and her life changes. I did like Lucy a lot and felt for her because she led a shelter life, and my heart went out to her when she lost her little boy too. The ending was very different from what I thought it would be, but I love it when an author does something entirely different from what you expect. This was an easy read, and it hooked me from the start until the end. I like how there is mix of genres in this book paranormal, romance it works very well. There is a considerable amount of suspense running through the book that keeps you hooked to the book. 5 stars. This is a very different read to what I read, but I did love it and will read more by Phill Featherstone in the future.

Lucia Porter and Harry Cavanagh are an unlikely pair. She has suffered from a sheltered and controlled upbringing, he is the heir to a fortune and a title.
They meet at university, and after a whirlwind romance marry. But the Harry that Lucia marries turns out to be different from the Harry she fell in love with. Matters come to a head with the sudden death of their newborn son, which brings Lucia to the verge of a breakdown.
Without Harry's knowledge, Lucia travels to a retreat on a remote Scottish island, where she hopes to find help managing her grief. The retreat is led by the mysterious Dr Crowley, whose unconventional methods focus on the ancient, mystical attributes of the island.
In an amazing ending, Lucia finds peace in a place which she never knew existed and is beyond her understanding.
"A suspense-filled drama with a ghostly, paranormal feel. This novel is truly excellent." The Wishing Shelf. 5-stars
Author bio
Phill alternates between writing, drinking coffee, and playing the saxaphone (badly) - not always in that order. He lives in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England with Sally, his wife and partner of more years than they can count.
Phill is the award winning author of a number of novels and short stories.
'Paradise Girl', Book 1 of Phill's REBOOT trilogy, is set in the northern hills where, amidst the majestic beauty of the rolling moors, a world pandemic consigns a lone young woman to a bleak future. In Book 2, 'Aftershocks', her twin brother sets out to discover the truth behind the infection. REBOOT concludes with 'Jericho Rose'. By now the pandemic is over and it's time to rebuild. However, there are a selfish few who seek to exploit the situation for their own ends and this risks losing the little that's left.
Phill's fourth novel, 'The God Jar', is a tale of magic and mystery which straddles 16th century Europe and 20th century England. John Dee, Elizabethan sorcerer and mystic, finds a jar which he discovers has supernatural powers. 400 years later it resurfaces when a pair of honeymooners come across it on a diving trip. But have they found the jar or has it found them?
In 'What Dreams We Had!' a group of young people are offered a fantastic holiday in Italy, but once there they are forced to confront uncomfortable truths about who they are and what's important to them, and to wonder whether anything they thought was real actually is.
