Only Isla has a pretty front cover and I like the title it goes well with the book. The story about Isla who is grieving from the loss of losing her parents, and then she discovers a secret she has a brother. This is a contemporary romance genre and is a very sweet book and I like Isla instantly. Only Isla is a cosy and heart-warming read. The story is written well and engaging from the start. There are some good twists and turns in the book. Only Isla is a great and enjoyable read that you will not be able to put down. 5 stars. I not read any books from Bronnie Thomas before, and I will defiantly be reading more.

Isla Munroe, a stalwart of sustainable British fashion, is grieving the sudden loss of her parents when she discovers a secret her mother has kept from her – she has a brother. Her excitement turns to horror when she learns he’s none other than Alex Rutherford of the Rutherford Group, whose empire includes global fast-fashion chain, Halo.
Isla is drawn into the family fold by her charming nieces, Em and Harri. Alex’s beautiful wife is something of an enigma, and while Isla can’t quite figure her out, the beginnings of a friendship blossom between them.
Alex appears to want a relationship with Isla, but they bang heads on almost every occasion, leaving her angry and uncertain of her future in the family. And then there’s the complication of Alex’s best friend, the lovely, big, charismatic Will. There are a thousand reasons why she shouldn’t, but Isla finds herself falling in love with him.
When events take a tragic turn, and Isla and Alex finally lock horns, she must decide if she wants to fight for her place in his family, or walk away for good.

When she’s not writing, Bronnie spends her time falling into rabbit holes as she seeks out information on how to function in today’s world, including, and not limited to: how not to stuff up parenting (hard), how to fuel hungry teens (constant), how to stick to healthy habits (very hard), where to travel next (fun), what books to read (joyous); and last but not least, how to stay sane (impossible)!
