What Dreams We had by Phill Featherstone

@phillfeather for reviewing this book and being part of this tour.
What Dreams We had is a young teenage genre that is set at a good pace. I thought it was a good read that young teenagers will enjoy. The story about five friends who receive an unexpected invitation to a luxury holiday, but strange things start to happen. I like the front cover and the title, it works very well together. The five characters were very interesting and likeable. There is a good amount of twists and turns that you will not expect. I didn't anyway. I like how you found out about the characters and their disturbing dreams that they have. I think that was my favourite bit about the dreams. This is the first book I have read by Phil Featherstone and is an enjoyable read and different to other books that I have read. It's always good to read something different and its very easy to get into 4 stars.
Phill Featherstone has worked as a taxi driver, salesman, teacher, administrator, consultant and publisher. He writes fiction in the young/new adult and adult contemporary genres, and now has nine novels and a book of short stories under his belt. His work has been extensively praised for telling convincing stories with an authentic voice. He’s travelled widely in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and Central America. He’s lived in many places in England and is now settled in the great city of Sheffield. When he’s not writing or reading, Phill walks in the Dales, watches movies, goes to theatres, galleries and concerts, and plays the tenor sax (badly!). He’s married to Sally, another author and a talented artist.
Book Title: What Dreams We Had
Book Blurb:
Five young friends receive an amazing invitation. A wealthy celebrity offers them a luxury holiday in his Tuscan villa.
They travel full of excitement, but when they get there they find that the villa is empty. Its location is remote, and with no transport, internet connection or mobile signal they’re cut off. But a note tells them that others will join them soon, so they are reassured enough to settle in.
However, their calm is shattered by a series of scary events. They are bewildered and confused, and over the days and nights that follow they are forced to reconsider what is important to each of them. Above all, they have to face the possibility that some of the things they believed to be true were in fact delusions.
