Things We Do For Love by Vered Neta
Thank you @rararesources for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book.
Things We Do for Love has a lovely front cover and is a contemporary genre that is 264 pages long. The story is about Daisy and her two sisters, Heather and Iris. Daisy is a therapist, who didn't have the greatest childhood and decided she didn't want children. As Daisy gets older she changes her mind but things don't according to plan for her. I found the story hard to get into at the beginning but after the first chapter, I got into it. My heart went out to Daisy and her sisters with all the family troubles they had when they were children. Things we do for love with pull on your heartstrings and may make you cry. The story is written beautifully and tackles some hard topics like Alzheimer's and childhood experiences like a controlling mum but Vered Neta tackles them well in the book. 4 stars . Out to buy now.

Things We Do For Love
Daisy Bach, a therapist, has always been certain that she did not want to have children. Her
childhood experiences with an overbearing and controlling mother, Verity, who tore the family apart,
further cemented this decision. However, at the age of forty-five, Daisy finds herself reconsidering
this choice.
Unfortunately, her decision to try and conceive is complicated by her mother's diagnosis of
Alzheimer's disease. With strained family relationships, Daisy faces the daunting task of caring for her
elderly parents while also attempting to conceive.
As she navigates this challenging time, Daisy is forced to confront her deep-seated resentment
towards Verity. This journey leads her to re-evaluate her beliefs about motherhood, forgiveness, and
the true meaning of a "happy" family. Will Daisy find a way to reconcile with her past and make
peace with her present? Only time will tell.
