Rise Dresca by Tim McKay

Thank you @hyggebooktours @timmckay52 #hyggebooktours for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Rise of Dresca is book 1 in the series and this a fantasy genre. I like the front cover it is unusual and appeals to the eye. I found this to be a dark read and quite exciting read. The story is about a lone survivor who is trapped in ruins that are haunted. Sounds creepy and thrilling when you read the blurb. The story is well written and I like the descriptions that flow through the book. A great Fanastsy. 5 stars Looking forward to book 2. Blurb From the pits of an ancient darkness, a new power is rising. ________________________________________ Ceremai has fallen. He used to be a pastor, still cares about good and evil, and still strives to create meaningful experiences for others. He has degrees in history, theology, and public policy, along with a diploma in professional writing, but likes nothing more than hiking in the woods, running along the Rideau Canal, and connecting with the people he loves. Oh, and reading a good book.
