Thank you @sh_ewa for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Murder at the Residence is a mystery/ crime novel that is set in Iceland. The story is translated by Quentin Bates. I found this to be an interesting read and I liked that it was written in first person. The chapters are short and snappy which is good. The main character is Stella who is a lawyer and wants to find out and investigate what happened to a financier that is beaten to death and a stripper is missing. Stella, what's to solve this case? The story is at a good pace and I did like Stella, I loved her determination and her passion. Hope there is a book 2. A good read with a good plot. 4 stars. If you like crime you will love this book.
