INCHOATE by Lois Vander Wende- Williams

Thank you @KellyALacey @lovebookstours #Ad #LBTCrew #BookTwitter for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Inchoate is a contemporary genre and is 185 pages long. I found Inchate to be an interesting read and I felt hooked to Jess's story and needed to find out what happens to her. Jess is non-binary and has found her partner Emma. Then something happens one night to Emma, Rick and Jess. Which upsets Jess. The story is well-written and there are some hard-hitting topics like drugs, sex, therapy and rehab. The characters are fantastic and well developed and I did like Jess but felt for her especially when she was at the hospital. I just wanted to give her a big hug when the nurse told her some bad news. There were times I felt quite emotional reading Jess's journey. Amazing read. 5 stars. Blurb Jessica Ann Stark, known as Jess, has lost the love of their life. A non-binary twenty-something with a soft spot for girly girls, Jess has finally found her, the one - Emma Lee. The only problem is that she is dating their best bud, Rick. Watching Rick take Emma Lee from nineteen-year-old innocent high school drop-out, to a girl who needs to work "the program", takes its toll on Jess, who, when all is said and done, is left grieving and questioning everything. Experience sex, drugs, rehab, therapy, coming out, questioning it all and losing everything, with the Bay Area of California as the backdrop. Inchoate is just that, inchoate.
