Miss Mary Kate Martin's Guide to Monsters is a young adult fiction that you will go on a thrilling mystery with Mary Kate. The illustrations by Freda Chiu are absolutely beautiful and go extremely well with the story. I love the front cover it's so pretty with the Monster and Mary Kate. The story is about Mary Kate who goes with her Mum, who is an archaeologist that goes to the English Countryside to investigate an old well. Mary Kate ends up doing her own investigation. This is a cute and delightful read that young adults will enjoy. The story is at a good pace that you can keep up with and will keep your attention. Karen Foxlee has a great imagination and she whisks you away to a world of fantasy and monsters. 4 stars out now. Bio Karen Foxlee was born in Mount Isa, Australia. She trained and worked as a nurse before studying for a degree in creative writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She is the author of five books, including The Anatomy of Wings, which won the Commonwealth Writer's Prize for Best First Book in the South East Asia and South Pacific region, and the Carnegie Medal-longlisted Lenny's Book of Everything, which is also published by Pushkin Children's Books.

I love the front cover its very eye catching witch would make me pick up to read the blurb. I like the title to. I found hanging out very instresting read its very true how people lost on technology and how we lost the connections in the real world since covid. I found it difficult and awakard going to social situations not knowing what to say or woundering if people want me there all because we been locjed away. I like how Sheila highlights her importance for us to hang out togther and how socialsing has changed through the years.   Penelope’s Purple Passion is a beautiful poetry  book that I fell in love with straight away. As soon as I open the book I could not stop reading and normal I like some Poe more than others but I can say this about Penelope poetry I loved them all the same. Her writing grab me from the first word.  The poetry about love , loss  and passion. I love the front colour it has my favourite colour and a butterflys. Penelope is telling her poetry through a butterfly . I definitely recommend this book and would love to read more of her poetry. The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written.
