The Woman in the Woods by J A Baker

Thank you @rararesources and @thewriterjude for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Women in the Woods is a psychological thriller that gets your attention straight the way. I found the book had a great amount of suspense and is a thrilling read. There are two protagonists running through the book: the author who lives in the woods with her dog and a different woman. The story goes back to the past and the present day and while reading The Women In the Woods, I was trying to work out who they both were I did get it right but there was something I did not get correct which made me go oh and yes that makes sense. (I am Writing in code because I don't want to give the plot away) I found the book to be gripping and held my attention. This is a good psychological read that is written very well. There is some great twist and turns running through the book. Did I like the characters, well I think I felt sorry for them both because of how isolated they both became. This is a dark read which I loved and I will be looking out for more books by J A Baker in the future. 5 stars. out to buy now. Blurb The Woman in the Woods I am safe here, in my cottage in the woods where no one knows me or my real name. Here all is peaceful and calm and the real world can’t hurt me – because I know how cruel it can be. But then I see here again and her pale, white face. Watching me. Taunting me. And then the notes appear. I know who you really are... I know what you did... My mind in whirl I don’t know what to do. Now the walls of my cottage feel like a prison. The peaceful woods around me feel like a maze that will tra p me forever. Who is this woman? And what does she want? And can she possibly know what happened during that boiling hot summer of 1976 when I made my terrible mistake. And if so, how? So many questions paralysing me with fear. One thing I do know. She mus t be stopped. Purchase Link - https://mybook.to/WomanWoodsSocial Author Bio – J. A. Baker is a successful psychological thriller writer of numerous books, previously published by Bloodhound.
