The Boat House by Keri Beevis

Thank you @rararesources and @keribeevis for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. The Boat House is a psychological thriller that is full of dark secrets. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The story is about Emily whose dad dies and things are not going that well with her boyfriend Max. Max arranges for them both to go away to a boat house to try to get things back on track but things do not go as planned. I Found The Boat House to be gripping and full of suspense. There were times I thought I knew what was happening but then I carried on reading and I would change my mind. I do love it when the author tries to trick your mind and you question yourself. Keri Beevis is a great writer and I love the twists and turns that ran through the book. Awesome read. I read The Boat House in a Day it was very addictive and hard to put down. I loved the dog Scout she is so lovely and I did feel for Emily with everything she went through and it was good to see her near the end become a stronger person. I have not read any books by Keri Beevis before but I can't wait for the next one. If you like a psychological thriller you will love this book. There are some hard topics that run through the book, Rape, death, abortion and being stalked. Brilliant read. 5 stars The Boat House A dark secret. A deadly obsession. No place to hide. Max Hunter, my boyfriend, booked the beautiful boat house on the Norfolk Broads as a surprise autumn break A week away to heal after a fraught few months following my father ’ s death. A chance to put the lies and secrets behind us and to start afresh. But in the silence it feels like someone is out there. Watching, waiting and taunting me. When strange things begin to happen, I know this isn't going to be the relaxing break it ’ s supposed to be. As I become more jumpy, Max ’ s patience begin to wear thin. He thinks I am imagining things. But he doesn't know the huge secret I am keeping, so big it could destroy us. I have every right to be fearful and I have to make sure he never finds out the truth. But what if I am already too late?
