This is the first book I have read by Christina Delmonte and it is a twisty and dark read. Last Bank Hoilday is enjoyable read and kept me entertained to the end. The story is about Karen and her family.Will her husband is not well due to being injured in a burglary. Then Karen wins a family holiday in the woods and things start to change. There are some good twists in the book that I didn't have a clue were coming. The story had a good plot and entertaining read . The characters were likeable and good to see them develop throughout the book.4 Stars. If you like psychological books Last Bank Holiday will not let you down. Great read. I love the front cover its very eye catching witch would make me pick up to read the blurb. I like the title to. I found hanging out very instresting read its very true how people lost on technology and how we lost the connections in the real world since covid. I found it difficult and awakard going to social situations not knowing what to say or woundering if people want me there all because we been locjed away. I like how Sheila highlights her importance for us to hang out togther and how socialsing has changed through the years.   Penelope’s Purple Passion is a beautiful poetry  book that I fell in love with straight away. As soon as I open the book I could not stop reading and normal I like some Poe more than others but I can say this about Penelope poetry I loved them all the same. Her writing grab me from the first word.  The poetry about love , loss  and passion. I love the front colour it has my favourite colour and a butterflys. Penelope is telling her poetry through a butterfly . I definitely recommend this book and would love to read more of her poetry. The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams is for young adults between 9-13 years, which will keep them entertained till the end. The story is dark and well-written. The illustrations are amazing and great fantasy. The story is at a great pace and love adventure running through the book 5 stars.
